IndoorAtlas Ltd. is the world’s first company to utilize magnetic anomalies inside buildings and smartphones to pinpoint positions indoors. The company was founded in 2012 as a spin-off company from the University of Oulu, Finland. Our R&D centers are located in Oulu, Finland, and Oxford, UK.
IndoorAtlas’ core team consists of ten computer science and engineering professionals with outstanding academic backgrounds. The founding team has extensive experience in robotics research and software engineering at the university as well as strong academic backgrounds in computer science and mathematics.
