New IndoorAtlas iOS SDK and mobile app updates are now available at www.indooratlas.com, and at App Store. The newest iOS update introduces several improvements and new features, including improved cloud connection and SDK support for setting up known initial position. The redesigned user interface makes the data collection process easier and provides better information for apps and users about the service status. The new iOS SDK uses our new platform framework, which means the data bandwidth requirement between the iOS API and the cloud service is more than ten times smaller. This helps to solve potential cloud-connection problems on low-bandwidth networks during positioning sessions. The Android SDK and mobile app will be be updated in the coming weeks.
