In December 2019, IndoorAtlas entered into an agreement with Cherrypicks with the goal of providing innovative location-aware solutions in Asia. Cherrypicks aims to unleash the value of location intelligence in the region with a special focus in Hong Kong and Macao, and smart tourism sector in China.
In recent years, demand for indoor location-aware services have witnessed significant growth in Asia. Venue operators are constantly seeking to enhance customer experience in their properties while simultaneously gaining insight into the users’ behaviour inside the venues. In addition, business stakeholders have become savvy and seek location-aware services that are accurate, easy to deploy, and cost efficient to maintain. Cherrypicks has also integrated IndoorAtlas GroundSage into applications for convention space clients in Europe, and has leveraged IndoorAtlas to create indoor navigation experiences within the WeChat ecosystem for retail based clients.
